This site wants to make a contribution to lesbian culture, whatever that is. Maybe it is just being out of the closet with an open heart, sharing things with others. Spread the joy! This might sound a bit old fashioned in the times of Youtube and Facebook etc. However, I want to keep my little contribution to the culture and the lesbian community.

Over the last decades it became easier to be gay in many countries. But it's still not easy and in some areas it's still forbidden. I'll never understand why love can be a reason for being prosecuted and chased. Many lesbians all over the world only have their own feelings but no contact to other women who love women. So praise the internet! Let's use this medium for communication and for bracing each other.



So this is what this site is for: A platform for lesbian stories: Prose, poetry, films, music, whatever. My intention is to offer a place where lesbian women can publish something for others. This site is online since November 2004. I'm looking forward to what the future has in store. If you have created something you want to share (fiction, poem, musicvideo, whatever), please contact me! I'm also grateful for comments, ideas, suggestions etc.

Am Anfang dieser Website stand die Idee, eine Plattform zur Verfügung zu stellen, wo Lesben Literatur und Videos für Lesben veröffentlichen können, und zwar kostenlos für alle Beteiligten. Spread the joy! Das mag altmodisch klingen im Zeitalter von Youtube und Facebook, aber ich möchte dennoch beibehalten, meinen eigenen kleinen Beitrag leisten.

Es ist leichter geworden, lesbisch zu leben, aber es ist noch immer nicht leicht. Frauenliebende Frauen, die auf dem Lande wohnen oder sich nicht irgendeiner 'Szene' anschließen mögen, haben es immer noch schwer, mit anderen Lesben in Kontakt zu kommen. Kultur lebt vom Austausch. Sie kann nur entstehen, wenn jemand etwas sagt und jemand anderes es hört und darauf reagiert. In diesem Sinne ist diese 'Plattform von Lesben für Lesben' gedacht.


Diese Website ist online seit November 2004. Ich freue mich über jede (konstruktive) Form der Beteiligung. Habt Ihr Texte? Gedichte? Musikvideos? Oder irgendetwas anderes, was Ihr anderen lesbischen Frauen zur Verfügung stellen wollt? Dann emailt mir! Ich freue mich immer über Post. Ich freue mich auch über Rückmeldungen (Anmerkungen, Lob, Kritik, Verbesserungsvorschläge etc.) zu dieser Seite.
